The Peak District was designated a National Park in 1951. It covers an area of 555 square miles & has some of the most amazing countryside & villages for you to explore.  What ever you like to do on holiday there is something for everyone.

The barn is situated within the Staffordshire Moorlands and on the Southern edge of the Peak District National Park. Ideally located to explore the limestone dales of the White Peak in the South, and the rugged Dark Peak to the North.

We are close to the historic market town of Leek and the beautiful Spa town of Buxton.

There are plenty of walking, climbing and biking opportunities to help you explore and enjoy this lovely area.

From rivers to canals, reservoirs and lakes, steam trains to country parks, historic houses and bike trails, moorland to valleys the Peak has so much to offer.
